Climate Change Administration

According to Article 11 of the "Climate Change Response Act," central industry competent authorities shall formulate and revise greenhouse gas reduction action programs according to the Action Measures and Periodic Regulatory Goals. Six major sectors shall share reduction responsibilities and meet reduction goals with each phase. The Phase One Sectoral Action Program (2016-2020) was approved by the Executive Yuan on Oct. 3, 2018, and the Phase Two Sectoral Action Program (2021-2025) was approved on Sept. 16, 2022. Meanwhile, every year each sector produces action program performance reports to review implementation results.
